15% Increase in Families hit by IHT in one year
The number of UK estates liable for Inheritance Tax (IHT) is forecast to rise by 15 per cent to around 30,000 this year, according to HMRC tax data. This year’s figures compare to the 26,000 estates liable for IHT in 2015/16. The overall number of estates liable for IHT has almost doubled since 2008/09, rising by 87 per cent from 16,000.
Race Night kick starts our charity fundraising for 2017
On Friday night, McCrea Financial Services held their 8th annual race night at Hillhead Sports Club in Hughenden. That is was St Patricks Day simply added to the occasion with plenty of Guinness being ordered at the bar and with the Irish love of horse-racing, an atmosphere well suited to the occasion. It was a big month for Cummings who returned from a long-term injury to play in all three fixtures, his first involvement in the 2016/17 campaign. Cummings followed up his comeback game against the Scarlets with a two-try performance against Ulster in Belfast.
