We are delighted to reveal the 'Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity' as our second charity partner for our upcoming charity fundraising year! 

Coming off the back of a record-breaking fundraising year where you helped us to raise £43,060 for the Emma Cameron Foundation and Glasgow Care Foundation, with McCrea also being awarded the 'Best Community Service Endeavor' award by the MFG Supplier Awards 2023, we're delighted to introduce our new charity partners for the 2024/25 fundraising year. 

The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity help to provide the best possible care for young patients at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital by funding life-changing equipment, support services and research.

Being in our 17th year as club sponsor of Glasgow Warriors and sponsoring the fan-voted McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award, this season we introduced an extra incentive for the monthly award winner; a donation to a charity of the winners choice.

Having won the November award, Warriors and Scotland international Stafford McDowall chose the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity for his charity donation from McCrea, and was delighted to hear that we have decided to partner with the charity for the coming year. 

‘’Obviously it was great to win the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award back in November and have the chance to help out the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity with the monthly donation from McCrea, with the charity having become a massive part of the club’’ said Stafford. 

‘’It was amazing to hear that off the back of the charity donation pick, McCrea have decided to partner with the charity for their forthcoming charity fundraising year.’’

‘’The work that the Glasgow Children’s Hospital do for the local community in Glasgow and across Scotland is massive, and having seen all the hard work of the staff and how they take care of the children first-hand when the club visited the hospital over Christmas, means it feels brilliant to play a part in giving back to the charity alongside McCrea. ‘’

Our sold-out 14th Annual Charity Golf Day on the 25th April at the Fairmont St Andrews will tee-off our new year of fundraising, which is always a great day out and hopefully helps us to achieve a fast start to the year! 

We are currently planning various other events and fundraisers throughout the year including our Charity Dinner and Wine Tasting evening and Annual Charity Race Night, with many others in the McCrea team planning to get involved in local challenges and events.
