McCrea are delighted to announce that we have extended our support of Glasgow Warriors for a further two years, taking our sponsorship of the club into a 16th and 17th year!

We have been thrilled to watch the club grow and evolve over the years, with the Warriors enjoying the most successful era in their history, including a Guinness Pro 12 title win in 2015. 

The 2022/23 season, the first under head-coach Franco Smith, saw the fast-paced rugby that Glasgow are notoriously famous for return to Scotstoun, providing many thrilling moments in an enthralling season which saw the team reach a European Final for the first time in their history, as well as putting in consistent performances in the league which saw the a fourth place finish secured in the regular season. 

The extension of our sponsorship deal will see McCrea support the club with various initiatives, including continuing our sponsorship of the ever-popular monthly McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award as voted for by supporters, as well as the McCrea Financial Services Player of the Season award. 

McCrea will continue to involve the wider community and the Warrior Nation in various initiatives over the course of the season, such as merchandise giveaways and events, Most recently we invited young Glasgow Warriors fans aged 6-15 along to our 'Junior Journalist' event at Scotstoun to meet their rugby heroes and ask their questions in an interview-like set up. Additionally, we recently sat down with Warriors stars Allan Dell and Ross Thompson to discuss all things financial planning. The pair answered some fun quick-fire questions which provided some great laughs, and went on to explain why it is crucial to seek professional financial help. We are extremely excited for the upcoming season, and are hoping the Warriors can go one better this year and bring some silverware back to Scotstoun!
