Despite the defeat to Northampton Saints in the Champions Cup, last month the Warriors secured two bonus-point wins over the Ospreys and Cardiff and picked up four crucial points against Bentton Treviso in the GUINNESS PRO12.

Nakarawa won the award after beating off competition from Greg Peterson, Jonny Gray, Taqele Naiyaravoro and Rob Harley. 

Leone Nakarawa said: "I'm hugely honoured to have been voted the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month and I'd like to thank all of the supporters who voted for me."

Votes were placed via the Glasgow Warriors Twitter account and one lucky winner will have the chance to meet Leone at Scotstoun on Saturday where he'll be formally presented with his trophy at the all important European Cup game against Scarlets.
