Day to Day Life at McCrea

Yvonne started her career as an Audio Typist with McCrea but quickly slotted into a more administrative role, supporting the mortgage department and is now one of our Senior Administrators and Typists. Yvonne has become a pivotal part of the team and works closely with our Mortgage Specialist, Ged Cumming.  

Life Before McCrea

I started at McCrea in 2006 and have over 20 years' experience in the Financial Services sector. My first job upon leaving school was at Digby Brown as a Court Junior. Digby Brown is now one of the largest and well known solicitors. From there I worked in recruitment, property development and finally onto Financial Services where I settled and have been ever since. 

Favourite Thing About Working for McCrea

Definitely the familiarity - I have worked at McCrea for over 15 years and it is like working with family! 

Out of the Office

I enjoy 'family time' with my daughters and walking my French bulldog Diesel, as well as a trip to the cinema and shopping. 

Fun Fact

My personal achievements include abseiling off the Finnieston Crane for one of the many McCrea charity partnerships, The Dog's Trust, which I was told I completed like "a true professional".  I am a big karaoke fan, and would love to visit Australia one day.
